HACSE has launched this program (with effect 2016-17) under the affiliation of Mumbai University. The same has been recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi, a statutory body under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India.
It is a Full-time two Years course. The program starts from the second week of July. The exact date will be announced by the University of Mumbai and is decided upon the enrolment rounds after the Common Entrance Test. As per the new semester credit based grading system the program is divided into four semesters.

Graduate of any faculty of a recognized University or its equivalent and have a minimum of 50% marks for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category. Note: There is no Direct Admission to the course without CET. No management seat. No paid seat.
A Common Entrance Test (CET) is held in the month of May every year by Govt. of Maharashtra for enrolment into various B Ed programs. Admission in HACSE is through this Maharashtra CET. Interested candidates are expected to visit bed.mahapravesh.in from March of every year for filling online form to appear for this CET. After getting qualified in the examination, the candidate can opt for his / her desired college - HACSE in this case.
The Rehabilitation Council of India is accountable for the development of curricula in special education. The curriculum of B Ed (HI) and B Ed (LD) are developed by the RCI and have been adapted by Mumbai University into credit based grading semester system. Visit Mumbai University for more information.
