We celebrate cheti chand Jo melo every sindhi new year , wherein we put idols of Jhulelal and take out Bahrana Sahib & perform pooja, distribute Prasad to every person .
We invite sindhi musical party to sing sindhi cultural songs, mimicry, joke to entertain visitors.
Entry to festival is free , we put up various stall of different kinds of sindhi food, also arrange for typical sindhi dinner. Food is given at very nominal/concessional price so that people cherish the taste of sindhi food.
Occasionally We telecast sindhi pictures, we also arrange sindhi plays, musical programs, dance Programs to promote our sindhi culture.
Sindhis from different geographical parts of Mumbai come to festival, meet each other and remember their old days. The tell the young one about their experiences, otherwise the young Sindhis are almost forgetting our culture in this modern world.
